A couple of days ago, Hamelet Au sent me an im, He wanted to wirte a blog about my video <there was a boat>, the blog was posted on his  The New Worlds Notes today:

I am happy he likes my video, and it is interesting to read those comments.

Meanwhile, he reminds me sth.  He asked me what it was about? At that moment  I noticed that it needs some discription to help ppl  understand the video better. I was too lazy to wirte such articles, and I am not good at it at all, especially in another language.

He  quoted some sentences from my note, and I would like to paste them all here, it is not easy to wirte such long text XDD:

About <there was a boat>

The boat in China sim has been a meeting place of chinese communites in SL for 2 years, People lives here, takes it as  a virtual home,  wherever they  went,  they alawys came back here.  They shared all kinds of SL and RL experiences,  or just stood there as an afker. For some of them,  China boat is emotionly charged.

But the world is advancing, and one day, we  just have to take away the boat for something new.   aston Leisen ( who rebuild the boat for us )  decided to burn the boat and had it gradually collapse, rather then vanish it (as most ppl do in SL).  At first I thought it would be a crazy party, dancing in the fire and laughing on the chaos. But, at the moment i saw the hurting boat falling apart, sinking … tears filled up in my eyes. It was the monment  the turth unfolded:  it’s real. My tears were real, the pain is real, the love is real, and our passion for life is real.

The boat kept burning for  a month before it disapeared under water. Water ink mountain and bamboo is our new beloved China（ http://www.flickr.com/photos/aston_leisen/4169243907/).  We always have to leave the past behind, keep moving on while carrying everything inside us, but keep moving on.

I made this video mostly for those who sharing the same feelings, of course for myself as well.  So it is about a disappearing boat, which was once real …
